In 2001, Dr Ranjan Pruthi graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College in Delhi with a Master of Surgery in orthopaedics.
In 2005, he qualified to practice in the UK, after completing an MRCS at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Dr Pruthi is passionate about the influence of education on peoples’ attitudes towards health. He provides a holistic approach, recognising the connection between mental and physical health. He encourages the regular practice of meditation and mindfulness in his patients’ lifestyle and recovery.

Dr Pruthi has experience in a variety of medical fields.
Initially, he focused on surgical specialities, including orthopaedics, general surgery and neurosurgery.
Following this, he spent time in acute & emergency medicine as well as urgent care units.
Dr Pruthi began his GP training in 2008, working in paediatrics, rheumatology, elderly care and renal medicine.
In 2011, he graduated as GP. He has since worked in a number of city and town practices across Greater London and Essex.
Dr Pruthi’s special interests include metabolic medicine, diabetes, lipidology and weight loss. He is also well-researched in the influence of exercise on cardiovascular health.
