How long do I take it for?

What should I do if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is nearly time for the next dose. Do not take two doses at once to make up for a missed dose.

If you are taking Lansoprazole twice a day and miss one dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember, unless it is within 4 hours of your next dose. In this case, skip the missed dose and take the next one at your usual time.

Most people will feel better after 2 to 3 days of treatment. However, it can take up to four weeks to begin working. During this time, you may still experience some symptoms.

Symptom relief can vary depending on the dose of Lansoprazole you take and your overall health. For example, a 15mg dose is usually prescribed for milder cases, while a 30mg dose is taken for more severe conditions.
